What’s most shocking about this ending though, is that it’s a peaceful resolution to what otherwise is a very violent game, and that it shows Min in a very different light. Pagan Min then accompanies the protagonist to a location where he can spread his mother’s ashes, and we get to know more about Min’s relationships with Ajay Ghale’s mother (you can watch this alternative Far Cry 4 ending below). Far Cry 4’s story is idiotic, heavy-handed in all the worst ways, and filled with characters that are either morons or monsters.And it turns out that Pagan Min is true to his word, and actually comes back after 15 minutes (leaving Ajay plenty of time to enjoy his crab rangoon meal).

The crash site is probably the “mini-location” to which Hutchinson alluded, though some fans think that there might be more secrets still waiting to be found. You can loot the body for the golden pen that Min used to kill one of his men in the opening sequence of the game in addition to a lapel pin worth a hefty sum. Eventually you will happen upon the site of the downed helicopter with Min’s corpse laying beside it.
